BLACK PEOPLE ARE DANGEROUS
A hitchhiker wonders if she's just being prejudice, or if the black guy at the wheel is the cannibal mass murderer the police are looking for. BLACK PEOPLE ARE DANGEROUS first premiered in Rule of 7x7, a bi-monthly short play festival starring Donaldo Prescod and Jessie Cannizzaro, and it later returned in the Best Of series a few months after. It was well received by audiences and critics alike, and considered to be a "hilarious racial commentary" that provided a "charged discussion." Following the theatrical run, Donaldo adapted the play into a short film which he produced with Joanna B, and directed. The film adaptation stars Frank Harts and Lio Mehiel and had its premiere at the 10th Annual Bushwick Film Festival. Black People Are Dangerous won Best Narrative Short at the Urban Film Festival in Miami and the Honorable Mention Award at the 10th Annual Bushwick Film Festival.
